The latest '90s chestnut to be dug out of the attic and dusted off for a reboot? Nickelodeon's archaeology-themed game show Legends of the Hidden Temple, which ran from 1993 to 1995. As Variety reports, Nickelodeon will produce a made-for-TV movie based on Legends this year. In honor of the news, we've decided to address what we're sure is your most pressing question about the revival: just how confused would archeologists be if they came across the artifacts featured in the show's first season while excavating a genuine Mayan temple?

1. Extremely confused, because these things are definitely 100% fictional

  • The Lost Fountain of Youth
  • The Gordian Knot
  • John Henry’s Lost Hammer
  • The Trojan Horseshoe
  • Robin Hood and Marian’s Ladder

2. Very confused, because these objects would have been created way after the decline of Mayan civilization following the arrival of Spanish conquistadors

Lawrence of Arabia|Golden Jaguar|Pendant of Kamehameha|Dead Man's Hand|Shaka Zulu mask

  • The Mask of Shaka Zulu
  • The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
  • The Codebook of Mata Hari
  • The Collar of Davy Crockett
  • The Dragon Lady and the Blue Pearl

3. Still pretty confused, because these artifacts would have had to have come from the other side of the world long before anyone from the Old World made contact with the Mayans—if they ever existed at all
