On Tuesday, TED-Ed posted their first video in their new series "Moments of Vision," focusing on how the bra was invented. In the video, narrator Jessica Oreck sketches out and constructs her own miniature bra while explaining how dressmaker Ida Rosenthal created the bra as a means to better the fit of the dresses she was crafting. Obviously, the bra did not stay a one-dress accessory.

Lingerie has existed for hundreds of years, but it wasn't until the 1920s that a standardized cup sizing system was invented that changed underwear forever.
