A few films have been under similar racial scrutiny lately, including Doctor Strange for Tilda Swinton's casting as The Ancient One and the Japanese comic adaptation Ghost in the Shell for Scarlett Johansson's casting as the lead Kusanagi. Vox put together a brief video detailing Hollywood's long yellowface problem of casting white actors in Asian roles.
